So what happens now? With the election of Donald Trump as US President, a re-calibration of American foreign policy appears all but inevitable.
And this will have repercussions around the globe, including for the NATO alliance, relations with adversaries like Russia and China, and of course, for US support for Ukraine.
So what can we expect this to mean for Ukraine? And how does it all look from Kyiv, as Russian forces continue to make incremental gains in the Donbas?
On The Power Vertical Podcast this week, host Brian Whitmore speaks with Aleksandr Khara, a former official with the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council who is currently director of the Center for Defense Strategies, and Scott Cullinane, director of government affairs at Razom for Ukraine, who previously served as a senior Capitol Hill staffer on the House Foreign Affairs Committee where he worked on Europe, Russia, and Ukraine.
