
U.S. national security agencies have halted work on a coordinated effort to counter Russian sabotage, disinformation and cyberattacks.
The U.S. The Department of Justice has disbanded a task force to combat interference from adversarial foreign governments in US politics.
The DOJ is also narrowing its enforcement of the Foreign Agent Registration Act.
And all of that was before Signalgate, in which US journalist Jeffrey Goldberg was inadvertently included in a group chat among top US national security officials in which secret war plans were shared.
