PUTIN’S NEW POLITBURO

Vladimir Putin is reshuffling his war cabinet, reassigning both his long-serving defense minister and his top security advisor.

A government shakeup has long been expected following Putin’s inauguration for a fifth term as Kremlin leader, and more changes are apparently looming on the horizon.

What can we expect? What should we be watching for? And what does it all mean for Russia’s war against Ukraine and the future of Putin’s autocratic regime?

On The Power Vertical Podcast this week, host Brian Whitmore speaks with Mikhail Zygar, author of the bestselling books “All The Kremlin’s Men: Inside the Court of Vladimir Putin” and “War and Punishment: Putin, Zelensky, and the Path to Russia’s Invasion of Ukraine” to break it all down.
